An earthquake of magnitude 6.5 hit Ludian county in Yunnan province on August 3, 2014. Soon after the quake, Simpson set up the donation booth to collect donations for the earthquake disaster area. Within few days of the campaign donation fund has reached RMB11215 yuan total.  The donation fund was delivered to the Xiaozhai towncentre school in Ludian quake-hit area, which eventually were allocated to 20 school kid’s families which were affected most in the quake.
